Achievement Begins with Courage. Educational consulting for students applying abroad: university applications, scholarships, and IELTS prep.
What AB:C is
I help three kinds of people:
- younger students and their parents building a portfolio early (olympiads, research, competitions, scholarships)
- high school seniors and gap year students applying directly to undergraduate programs abroad
- current university students aiming for competitive master's programs, research positions, or internships
I also work with schools and centres on curriculum audits, curriculum consulting, and workshops.
Every plan is fully personalized. There is no fixed trajectory or pre built curriculum: I build each plan around the individual student's background, personality, and goals.
Who it is for
Students and families who want a clear plan and are ready to do the work with structured guidance.
Who it is not for
Anyone looking for a guarantee, a service that submits applications on your behalf, or a quick fix put together two months before a deadline with nothing prepared.
How AB:C is different

You write your own application
I guide, brainstorm, edit, and review, but I never ghostwrite. Many universities revoke offers over work that isn't the candidate's own, and it's a skill you'll need again after you arrive at uni.

Total transparency
Every long term client and their parents see the full plan, timeline, documents, and finances in one shared portal, always current.

No guarantees, stated outright
No one can guarantee admission or a test score. I treat anyone who claims otherwise as a red flag.

Genuinely individual
Every plan starts with real diagnosis, not a pre built curriculum sold the same way to every client.

If it isn't the right fit, or a goal needs adjusting, I'll say so plainly, before payment.

Solo and selective by design
I work alone, with a small number of students each season. That's what makes real individualization possible.
Essays and portfolios
I support brainstorming, drafting, editing, and reviewing. You are always responsible for, and have final say over, your own application and portfolio. My role is to guide, inform, review, edit, consult, and support, never to write on your behalf.
What is not included
- No guarantee of admission or a specific score.
- No ghostwriting. Essays and personal statements are brainstormed, drafted, edited, and reviewed together, but you write them and hold final responsibility.
- No legal or visa representation.
- No payment of third-party fees (translation, apostille, exam registration). These are your responsibility.
- Language exam prep (IELTS, SAT, and so on) is a separate service from admissions mentorship, not bundled by default.
How we work

First contact
You message directly, or book a paid diagnostic consultation: admissions, IELTS, or SAT/AP/A-Level. This is the first honest look at whether AB:C is the right fit for you.

Diagnostic and decision
Based on what the diagnostic finds, you move into long term mentorship, a test-prep package, or a one-off portfolio or essay review. If it genuinely isn't a fit, I say so directly, and you leave with an honest assessment.

Ongoing work
Mentorship renews weekly or every four weeks, by your decision each time. Any service can be paused for exams or family circumstances, and portal access stays with you during a pause.

Through to enrollment
Support doesn't stop at submission. I stay with you through results, visa and move, and the first weeks of your new program, so you're not on your own for the parts that come after acceptance.
The portal
Every long term client works from a shared portal, and it is yours to keep after mentorship ends. It holds:
- A summary dashboard
- The university and programme list, with requirements and odds
- An achievements database: olympiads, projects, volunteering, certificates, research
- Essay drafts with written feedback
- A document tracker
- An exam tracker
- A finances table
- A task list and a meeting log
Hours and policies

Working hours
13:00 to 20:00, Astana time, Monday to Friday. Sunday is a full day off. Calls need a message first, every time, stating what you want to discuss. No calls without that.

Scheduling
Calls are booked at least 24 hours in advance. Rescheduling needs at least 6 hours' notice, and a missed call without notice counts as used. Unused calls don't carry over into the next billing period, but within a mentorship period they can be moved to the remaining days of that same period. Everything discussed on a call is logged in the portal the same day.

Payment
Primary platform is Telegram Tribute. Kaspi is available directly on request for Kazakhstan based clients. Mentorship and test-prep packages are paid before the period begins. Diagnostic consultations and one-off reviews are paid at booking.

Pausing and refunds
Any service can be paused at any point, for exams, family circumstances, or anything else, and portal access is retained during a pause. A paid period is non-refundable once it has started, with one exception: if it becomes clear at the first meeting that AB:C isn't the right fit, the unstarted portion is refunded.

What is expected of you
Plan for 5 to 10 hours a week for mentorship, more for intensive test-prep formats. Respond within 24 hours on working days. Your writing is your own, I guide and edit but don't write it for you. Keep your portal task status current. If a parent is involved: provide a realistic budget upfront, handle document and payment logistics promptly, and let the student lead the process directly.

Confidentiality
Confidentiality is kept strictly by default. If an anonymized student example, essay, or piece of feedback could be useful in content, you're asked directly, case by case, before it's used. There's no standing blanket consent, and no assumption of permission just from working together.
